Keynote Speaker

Jeremy Bloom

Jeremy Bloom is the only athlete in history to ski in the Olympics and be drafted into the National Football League. On the slopes, Bloom is a 3x World Champion, 2x Olympian, and 11x World Cup gold medalist. He also is the youngest member ever to be inducted into the United States Skiing Hall of Fame.

On the gridiron, Bloom showcased his speed as an All-American at the University of Colorado, excelling as a wide receiver and return specialist. Bloom was also drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles and was a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Beyond his athletic endeavors, Jeremy is an acclaimed sports broadcaster and recipient of an Emmy Award. His expertise as a color analyst has been showcased in college football broadcasts for Fox, ESPN, and Pac12 Network. His Emmy win came during the 2016 Rio Olympics, where he was the host of a show within the athlete village for the NBC Digital team.

In the business world, Jeremy is the Founder/CEO behind Integrate, a pioneering enterprise software company. Under his leadership, Integrate emerged as a frontrunner in its field, culminating in its acquisition by Audax Private Equity in December 2021 for an impressive nine-figure sum. This achievement not only underscores Bloom's ability to drive innovation, construct a winning culture, and build for growth but also cements his status as a distinguished figure in the tech startup landscape. Further honing his leadership and business acumen, Jeremy completed the Private Equity CEO Excellence Course at Harvard in 2023. His innovative contributions to the technology sector have not only earned him a coveted spot on Forbes' 30 list but also led him to be a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. In a testament to his exceptional leadership and vision, The Denver Business Journal honored him as The Most Admired CEO in 2023.

Furthermore, he founded Wish of a Lifetime, a non-profit charitable organization that allows senior citizens to fulfill their lifelong dreams. Recognizing the potential for even greater impact, Bloom strategically merged Wish of a Lifetime with AARP, expanding its reach and resources. Today, he continues to guide and inspire as the Board Chair, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to empowering the elderly and fostering a culture of respect and fulfillment across generations.

Jeremy Bloom's journey is truly unparalleled, spanning from professional football to Olympic skiing, and from founding a groundbreaking tech company to establishing a beloved non-profit organization. His multifaceted career exemplifies a remarkable blend of athletic prowess, entrepreneurial spirit, and philanthropic dedication, setting a high bar for future leaders and innovators.

A Timeless Impact

The YMCA of Northern Colorado & Southern Wyoming invites you to the 15th Annual Y Splash. This is an extra special Y Splash, honoring our 150th anniversary of Y programs in Northern Colorado. Join us for a historic evening where we will mingle, dine, give and celebrate the Y’s enduring impact in our community.

Whether it’s tackling food insecurity, uplifting underresourced families or opening our doors as a shelter during fires and floods, the Y provides opportunities for our neighbors to overcome, recover, create connection, find purpose and thrive. The night’s proceeds benefit the thousands of children, adults and seniors who need the YMCA of Northern Colorado & Southern Wyoming’s childcare, camps, youth sports, swim lessons, teen leadership, health and wellness programs.

Together, we can make the Y an everlasting source of equity, enrichment and empowerment for our neighbors. Want to learn more more about the Y’s 150-year legacy? Visit the history section.

A History of Service

Before Colorado was a state or the University of Colorado opened its doors, the Boulder YMCA was founded in October 1874 by local church leaders. The early YMCA offered opportunities for socializing, reading, prayer, lectures, music and recreation. By the early 1900s, residents could take classes at the Y, including commercial law, bookkeeping, advertising and glee club.

In the following decades, the YMCA evolved to meet the changing needs of its community and of society as a whole. The Y became a more inclusive organization. It uplifted families with childcare, camp and parent-child bonding opportunities. It launched group swim lessons and youth sports programs. It developed wellness programs and opened fitness centers, providing spaces and services for adults and seniors seeking to nurture their spirit, mind and body. Community became the organization’s calling.

Today, the YMCA of Northern Colorado strengthens the foundations of community. We do that in countless ways. We provide character-building after-school programs, preschool and summer camps. We teach children life-saving swimming skills. We offer support for adults with Parkinson’s, cancer and chronic diseases. We rise to respond to crises. We fill gaps to support families and individuals when they need it most.

The community needs the Y, and the Y needs donors like you.
